The Loss Project 2011

"Sometimes in life, we suffer losses that lead to wisdom, and, in time, we become thankful. But sometimes we lose and no gain can console us. May those who suffer so deeply have this space to grieve and many they, through reflections, find some peace."

On Friday April 29th Th Reach Out Foundation threw a royal wedding tea reception hosted by none other than the queen herself, Kathy Sharp. Kathy provided all of the guests with tiaras (also made by Kathy) as well as a beautiful Wedding Cake (also made by our Queen and decorated by one of our valued volunteers Amanda). The Staff set up a lovely spread including tea sandwiches (made by Leslie and Sandy), biscuits (in the states we call them cookies), and other delightful deserts.  And of course, Kathy's famous trifle. The reception attendance included many of our wonderful consumers, Reach Out staff and board members and a photographer from the Bucks County Courier Times. We all had a great time sampling the diverse selection of tea that Kathy provided and chatted about the new royal couple. Everyone did a wonderful job and the event was a royal success! I took photos to prove it!
